All guides for The Lost and Damned ↗Treat it as a separate campaign
The Lost and Damned follows Johnny’s story in Liberty City. Niko’s weapons, money and mission progress are not your starting equipment, so treat the episode as its own campaign. Use the clubhouse save facility outside active assignments and keep a separate slot before an extended operation. Check new calls and map letters after finishing a mission; your next contact is not necessarily beside the previous destination.
Learn the motorcycle first
A bike offers less protection against walls and oncoming traffic than a car. Brake before a tight bend, straighten the motorcycle and then accelerate firmly. Controlled speed through busy streets often saves more time than constant maximum throttle followed by crashes. During a gang ride, you do not need to race to the front. Follow the leader and use the displayed formation when available: riding together can help Johnny and his motorcycle recover.
Getting off is a valid tactic
Motorcycles define the episode, but that does not mean every gunfight should happen from the saddle. Against an occupied enemy position, leaving your bike behind solid cover often creates a safer opening. Buy armour and ammunition before heading into a firefight. Keep explosives away from friends and vehicles you must preserve. Winning the shooting does not compensate for destroying a motorcycle required by the objective.
Watch the crew and the objective
Notice who needs to travel with you or survive. During a transport job, the truck’s condition matters alongside Johnny’s health. Gang contacts can provide useful support in appropriate assignments, but extra guns do not replace good cover. These story guides cover PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, including the PC Complete Edition. Follow the input prompts for your edition and controller. Our walkthroughs prioritise a reliable completion rather than optional speed targets or shortcuts that require memorising every traffic spawn.
