Unlock and preparation
After The Puerto Rican Connection, Elizabeta calls. Her E marker at the South Bohan apartment starts The Snow Storm. Jacob appears in the opening argument but does not accompany Niko through the hospital as an armed partner. You recover the package alone and meet him later. Refill health, armour and ammunition beforehand. An SMG and a rifle suit the changing distances; a sniper rifle merely makes the opening approach easier and is not a required mission tool. Plan the escape as you arrive: a usable civilian car near your chosen exit avoids searching for transport during the raid.
Fence access and the eastern doorway
The objective is the old hospital on Colony Island. This walkthrough uses the ground-level entrance. A ladder behind the building permits an alternative attack from above, but is not required for the route below.
- Drive to the objective and examine the compound from a distance. Position your car for a straightforward departure without lengthy turning. Do not park between visible gunmen or immediately beside an explosive container.
- Remove the visible guards outside from a protected position. Check the open windows and raised firing positions before crossing the exposed ground toward the fence.
- Use the opening in the northern metal fence and approach the doorway on the eastern side of the hospital. Also note the eastern fence gap as a reference for a possible later route toward the water.
- Clear the first interior area and main corridor from the sides of doorways. Look upward after each advance: shooters on exposed upper levels and beams may sit outside the line you have already checked.
Collect the package and survive the raid
The first fight prepares you for the harder return journey. Finding the package does not finish the mission; the call to Jacob leads into the police phase.
- Work through the corridor to the back room containing the package on a table. Deal with its guards and check adjoining firing lines before standing in the middle of the room.
- Check health, armour and your magazine. An armour pickup in the package area provides a reserve. Identify the first protected position on your return route before taking the package and triggering the call and NOOSE arrival.
- Retrace the rooms you passed earlier. Engage arriving officers from a doorway or wall edge instead of crossing several exposed openings simultaneously. Reload before entering the next space.
- Check the changed situation outside. The car park is now more dangerous than it was on arrival. Secure the immediate path to your civilian getaway car, enter it and leave the hospital compound.
- Escape the wanted area without creating fresh police sightings. If using Pay ’n’ Spray, enter in an eligible civilian vehicle without officers observing your arrival. A police car is not an appropriate vehicle for that option.
- Wait until the wanted level is actually cleared. Follow the new meeting marker to Little Jacob in Chase Point, Bohan. The scene there completes the assignment; do not drive directly to him while still being pursued.
Cover, explosive containers and the boat alternative
Explosive containers can reach enemies behind obstacles, but may also endanger the position you intend to occupy next. Do not shoot a container and immediately run toward it. Evaluate each room by its firing lines, retreat route and your remaining protection rather than a fixed enemy total. Normal completion does not require an exhaustive kill record. A boat beside the compound is a documented alternative: after retracing the interior, the waterside fence opening can lead toward a departure point. Use it only when you can identify an actual boat and a reachable boarding position. A blind water jump guarantees neither transport nor safety. If no suitable boat is visible, the prepared road escape remains the route you can plan around.
Troubleshooting
Separate lost health from lost orientation. Running faster along the same exposed line does not remove the source of incoming fire.
| Problem | Check | Correction |
|---|---|---|
| You take damage in an apparently empty room. | A shooter on an upper floor or beam was missed. | Check the raised level before entering. |
| You reach the package with little protection. | Too many spaces were crossed without cover. | Advance more carefully and use the armour reserve deliberately. |
| NOOSE hits immediately after collection. | The package was treated as the ending rather than a phase change. | Plan your magazine and first retreat position before collecting it. |
| You cannot reach the getaway car alive. | The previously safe parking area is now exposed to police. | Check from doorway cover and secure the necessary path. |
| Pay ’n’ Spray does not clear the pursuit. | Officers saw you enter or the vehicle was unsuitable. | Break observation first and use an eligible civilian vehicle. |
| The boat escape leaves you stranded in water. | A waiting boat was assumed rather than checked. | Use a visible, reachable boat; otherwise keep the road escape. |
Completion, saving and another attempt
Jacob is not a passenger you must collect during the escape, nor a companion whose health needs monitoring inside the hospital. The final meeting follows the cleared pursuit. Its story sequence belongs to the assignment: taking the package directly back to Elizabeta is not an alternative completion trigger. Save normally outside assignments before a long attempt and after a successful finish. A retry offered after failure does not create an arbitrary checkpoint in the package room. To improve a repeated attempt, change one clear bottleneck: the car’s departure position, checking elevated enemies earlier, or securing the first doorway after the raid begins.
FAQ and edition boundaries
Do you need Jacob’s weapons service or a particular friendship rating? No: availability follows the named story mission and Elizabeta’s call. Must you enter via the roof? No, the ground route works throughout. Is a boat guaranteed on particular systems? Guides describe availability differently; no universal PC, PS3 or Xbox 360 promise is made here. The PC Complete Edition still includes Niko’s GTA IV campaign. Mouse, controller, aim assistance and cover bindings change how you perform actions, not the objective order. This solution assumes no mods, cheats or personally tested high-frame-rate shortcut.
